Christi Parsons is an assistant managing editor at CNN, where she leads enterprise reporting in the Washington, D.C. bureau.

Parsons has been a journalist for more than thirty years, reporting all over the U.S. and from 32 countries around the world. She covered the White House for the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune for the entirety of the Obama administration, and served as president of the White House Correspondents' Association.

She has worked for newspapers all over the southeast and, prior to joining CNN, was a senior editor at The Atlantic. A graduate of the University of Alabama, she also holds a master's of studies in law from Yale Law School.
